The California Asian Chamber of Commerce invited American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) President Seth Merrick Wilen to speak alongside Holly Vineyard, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia, International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce as a panelist at the “How to Do Business in the Pacific Rim” conference. Attendees to this event were able to hear from and network with subject-matter experts on how to effectively export their products to China, Japan and South Korea.
Mr. Wilen spoke not only about the opportunities that are available for manufacturers looking to expand their operations to the region, but also the challenges that come with the differing laws and regulations overseas gained from experience exporting to more than 80 markets worldwide.
